THE NBCFAE STORY
NBCFAE has emerged as a more efficient and effective organization. The National Executive Board developed an NBCFAE Strategic Plan to establish goals and objectives, and define strategies to achieve desired results. The NBCFAE website was developed to also facilitate communication and educate the community about upcoming networking events, self-awareness and scholarship programs available throughout the world.

Annually, the NBCFAE distributes $90,000 in scholarships and grants, exposes over 1000 minority youth to careers in aviation through Aviation Career Education camps. They aid in the successful resolution of EEO complaints, as well as effect new hires annually in the FAA, and provide the career enhancing training of over 500 FAA employees annually through their regional and national training conferences.

Today, it remains the lead professional organization whose goals are focused on the minority employees in the Federal Aviation Administration.

MISSION STATEMENT
We the members of the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees will promote equal opportunity for African Americans, other minorities, and female FAA employees, improve employee-management relations, and provide an effective liaison among Federal Aviation Administration employees, management, and the community at large.
